Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force Marching Band
(Ambassadors of Trinidad and Tobago)

The Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force (TTDF) Marching Band is arguably one of the best
ambassadors for Trinidad and Tobago. Whenever the TTDF has been or is involved in operations or exercises outside of our shores it is a representative of Trinidad and Tobago. The Marching Band is no different and has done so on numerous occasions since its formation in 1995.

Some of the overseas engagements have included:

1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2004 - 33rd Regiment French Forces anniversary celebrations in Martinique.

1999 - The Anzac Military Tattoo in Sydney, Australia.

2003 - MOODS OF PAN Festival, Antigua.

2003, 2006 - Antigua Independence celebrations.

2005 - World Steel band Music Festival ,Madison Square Garden, New York. ( placed 3rd)

2005 - Commonwealth Resounds, Malta.


2006 - Washington DC at the request of the Delaware National Guard in April. (Members of the band became honorary citizens of the City of Baltimore.)

2006 - World Cup 2006 in in Nuremburg, Kaiserslautern and Dortmund, Germany.



 2008 - Royal Nova Scotia Military Tattoo.

2008 - Basil International Tattoo in Switzerland.


2009 - The Windsor Castle Royal Tattoo, England (Her Majesty The Queen was present.)

2012 –Military Tattoo, Jamaica.


2016 – Hamina Tattoo, Finland.

The TTDF has carried Trinidad and Tobago to the world and continue to do so with excellence.

We should all be proud of them, they have done so much for us already so we should seek to maintain that standard by our actions and behaviours.
